Forced perspective
another great way to make photographs of models look real
Many of us struggle from time to time, trying to photograph or models in such a way that they might look real. Here is a method perfected my Michael Paul Smith that might give you some ideas. Please click on the top photo and explore Michael’s fantastic work. I know the subject mater here is automobiles but the technique of forced perspective can be adapted to model boats as well.
